Details of a forward rack

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
2. Unscrew a nut and disconnect draft of the stabilizer of cross resistance to a forward rack.
3. Disconnect a brake hose from an arm on a forward rack.
4. Disconnect wires of the sensor of wear of brake shoes from a forward rack.
5. Note the provision of a rack on a rotary fist.
6. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of a rotary fist to a forward rack.
7. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a rotary fist to a forward rack.
8. Take a bolt of fastening of a rotary fist to a forward rack.
9. Take the top part of a rotary fist from a rack and establish a rotary fist on a support.
10. In a motor compartment remove a protective plastic cap from the top part of a forward rack.
11. Unscrew a nut of fastening of the top part of a rack. At the same time hold a rod of a forward rack from a provorachivaniye a wrench.
12. Remove a nut of fastening of the top part of a forward rack.
13. Remove the top support of a forward rack.
14. Lower a rack and take from under a forward wing.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using special adaptation, squeeze a spring so that it departed from the top part. When using special device for compression of springs you watch that rounds of a spring were reliably taken and you make compression of a spring from the opposite sides.

Prevention

The spring has very big effort of compression therefore use only very reliable tool. Do not connect a spring by a wire at all.


2. Record a key a shock-absorber rod from a provorachivaniye and, using the second cap key, unscrew the central nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber.
3. Remove the top ring with the bearing.
4. Remove top гнедо springs.
5. Remove the buffer.
6. Remove a spring from a forward rack.
7. Check all elements of a forward rack for wear, damages or deformation. Check smoothness of the course of a rod of the shock-absorber. Check the shock-absorber for tightness, and also its rod on pointed corrosion on all length.
8. Establish a cylindrical spring so that its lower end correctly settled down in the lower nest of a spring.
9. Install the buffer, top гнедо springs and the top ring with the bearing.
10. Screw a nut on a rod of the shock-absorber and tighten it the required moment, at the same time hold a rod from a provorachivaniye the second wrench.
11. Slowly weaken the tool for compression of a spring. Check that extreme rounds of a spring correctly settled down in spring nests.
