9.3. Rotary fists


Prevention

At installation of a rotary fist it is necessary to use all new bolts and nuts.


Nave and rotary fist

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports. Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
2. Unscrew a nut of fastening of steering thirst for a rotary fist. Using a stripper, take the spherical hinge of steering draft from a rotary fist.
3. Unscrew tightening a bolt, the fixing spherical hinge of the lower lever of a forward suspension bracket to a rotary fist.
4. Using the lever, move the lower lever of a forward suspension bracket down and take the spherical hinge from a rotary fist. If the pin of the spherical hinge densely sits in a rotary fist, use the screw-driver or a thin chisel as a wedge and expand a clip of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge.
5. Remove a support, without disconnecting from it a brake hose. Using a soft wire, suspend a support on a forward rack.
6. Unscrew a bolt and remove the wheel speed sensor.
7. Remove a nave nut cap, take a pin and unscrew a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
8. Take a power shaft to a nave, taking away a rotary fist from the car.
9. Note the provision of a rack of a forward suspension bracket on a rotary fist.
10. Unscrew two bolts of fastening of a rack of a forward suspension bracket to a rotary fist. At the same time finally take a power shaft from a rotary fist.
11. Remove a rotary fist.
12. Unscrew the screw and remove a forward brake disk from a nave flange.
13. Unscrew screws (shooters) and remove a mudguard from a rotary fist.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a mudguard on a rotary fist and fix by screws.
2. Establish a brake disk.
3. Check that vents on the external end of a power shaft and grooves in a nave pure. Pull a nave over grooves of a power shaft.
4. Pull a rotary fist over a power shaft. Arrange the top part of a rotary fist on a rack and fix by bolts.
5. Screw a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave and tighten it the required moment.
6. Establish a support of brakes.
7. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge of the lower lever of a forward suspension bracket in a rotary fist and fix tightening by a bolt.
8. Establish steering draft.
9. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
10. In several stages tighten a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave and record it a pin.
11. Establish a cap of a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave.
12. Check and, if necessary, adjust the angles of installation of wheels.
