8.22. Cable of the emergency brake
The cable of the emergency brake consists of three sections. The short forward section connects the lever of the emergency brake to the compensator. Secondary left and right sections connect a compensator plate to back brakes. Short a cable connect a back part of the emergency brake to levers on back brake shoes. Each section can be removed separately.
Removal
FORWARD SECTION OF THE CABLE OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE

| 1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. |
| 2. In interior of the car remove a protective cover of the emergency brake and remove it on the lever of the emergency brake. |
| 3. Lower the lever of the emergency brake and unscrew an adjusting nut since the forward end of a cable of the emergency brake. |
| 4. Remove a back part of system of production of exhaust gases. |
| 5. Remove the heat-resistant screen for access to a plate of the compensator of the emergency brake. |
| 6. Turn a back part of forward section of the emergency brake on 90 ° and disconnect from a compensator plate. |
| 7. Remove rubber consolidation from the bottom of the car and remove forward section of a cable of the emergency brake. |

SECONDARY SECTION OF THE CABLE OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. Completely lower the lever of the emergency brake. |
| 2. Remove a back part of system of production of exhaust gases. |
| 3. Remove the heat-resistant screen for access to a plate of the compensator of a cable of the emergency brake. |
| 4. Move a compensator plate forward, then turn the back end of forward section of a cable of the emergency brake on 90 ° and disconnect a cable from the compensator. |
| 5. Disconnect a back part of each cable from back short cables of the emergency brake. |
| 6. Exempt a cable of the emergency brake from brackets of fastening and take it from under the car. |

BACK SECTION OF THE CABLE OF THE EMERGENCY BRAKE
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Lift a back part of the car and record on supports. Completely lower the lever of the emergency brake. |
| 2. Using the screw-driver as the lever, disconnect the clip connecting a secondary and back cable of the emergency brake. |
| 3. Disconnect a cable of the emergency brake from the back lever of brake shoes. |
