7.2.4. Adjustment of the mechanism of gear shifting
Arrangement of a pin of blocking of the mechanism of the choice of transfers

Adjustment of the mechanism is made through tightening a bolt which fixes a gear shifting rod to draft of control of the transmission. The bolt is located on a back part of the transmission before a partition of a motor compartment and on the majority of models is available from above.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Weaken tightening a gear shifting rod bolt, but do not unscrew completely. |

2. In interior of the car remove the protection cover of the lever of gear shifting. Fix the gear shifting lever, having inserted a steel core or a drill with a diameter of 5 mm into the opening located on the left forward side in the lever basis. |
| 3. Fix the mechanism of the choice of transfers, pressing the sprung blocking pin located on a cover of the mechanism of the choice of transfers (see rice. Arrangement of a pin of blocking of the mechanism of the choice of transfers). |
| 4. After fixing of the lever of gear shifting and the transmission tighten tightening a gear shifting rod bolt in several stages. |
| 5. Take a blocking core from the lever of gear shifting and check operation of the mechanism of gear shifting, and the pin of blocking of the mechanism of the choice of transfers automatically has to return to a starting position when moving the lever of gear shifting. |
