3.4.6. Cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Unscrew screws and remove the plastic protection cover from the top part of a cover of a head.
2. Weaken a collar and disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case.
	3. On engines of a turbo weaken the clip fixing a metal pipe to a turbocharger and a clip, the fixing inlet channel to a collector. Unscrew two bolts and remove assembly of a tubule from the engine together with ring consolidation which is established between a pipe and a turbocharger.
4. Now disconnect hoses of supply of fuel since the right end of a cover of a head and disconnect wires from incandescence candles. Unscrew a bolt, the fixing plait of wires of an inlet collector to a head cover.
	5. Unscrew bolts and uncover a head.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Check that the interfaced surfaces of a cover of a head and a head of the block of cylinders, pure and dry. Establish laying on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Establish sealing washers under nests under bolts of fastening of a cover of a head.

3. Apply a thin film of sealant on a cylindrical surface on the left side of a cover of a head and a head of the block of cylinders (at the left – a sealant layer arrangement, on the right – places of putting sealant).
4. Establish a cover of a head and tighten fastening bolts the required moment.
5. Connect hoses of supply of fuel and electric sockets and connect a hose of ventilation of a case.
6. On models of a turbo install the inlet channel, using a new sealing ring.
7. Establish a protective plastic covering on a cover of a head and fix by bolts.
