3.3.9. Mechanism of a tension of a gear belt and pulleys

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a gear belt.
Camshaft pulley
2. Screw in tightening a camshaft pulley bolt in a head of the block of cylinders and unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley.
3. Unscrew tightening a bolt and remove a pulley from the end of the camshaft.
Pulley of the fuel pump
4. Using the special tool, record a pulley of the fuel pump from a provorachivaniye.
5. Unscrew tightening a bolt of fixing of a pulley and unscrew a nut of fastening of a pulley of the fuel pump.
6. Remove a pulley from a shaft of the fuel pump.
7. After removal of a pulley from a shaft of the fuel pump remove a segment spline.
Prevention

The pulley of the fuel pump is established on a cone therefore for its removal it is necessary to use a stripper.

Pulley of a bent shaft
8. Weaken a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft. For prevention of rotation of a bent shaft the assistant has to include any transfer and press a brake.
9. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft.
10. Remove a pulley.
11. Remove flange laying from a bent shaft.
Pulley of the oil pump
12. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley of the oil pump, at the same time hold a pulley from a provorachivaniye, having inserted a steel core through a pulley opening.
13. Remove a pulley from a shaft of the oil pump.
Tension mechanism
14. Unscrew bolts and remove the tension mechanism from the engine.
Single pulley
15. Unscrew bolts and remove a single pulley from the engine.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Camshaft pulley
1. Check that the adjusting pin of a pulley of the camshaft is in a camshaft end face.
2. Establish a camshaft pulley, having combined an opening in a pulley with an adjusting pin.
3. Establish tightening a camshaft pulley bolt then screw in bolts of fastening of a pulley, having tightened them the required moment.
4. Establish a gear belt.
Pulley of the fuel pump
5. Establish a segment spline in a groove of a shaft of the fuel pump and establish a pulley, having combined a groove on a pulley with a segment spline.
6. Fix a pulley by a nut, having tightened it the required moment, at the same time hold a pulley from a provorachivaniye the special tool.
7. Turn a pulley of the fuel pump in such situation that adjusting openings were combined and record a tightening bolt.
8. Establish a gear belt.
Pulley of a bent shaft
9. Establish flange laying on a bent shaft, and the convex surface of flange laying has to be on the other hand from the oil pump.
10. Check that the segment spline is established in cranked to a shaft and establish a pulley of a bent shaft so that the groove on a pulley was combined with a spline.
11. Fix a pulley of a bent shaft by a bolt, at the same time hold a bent shaft of the engine from a provorachivaniye.
12. Establish a gear belt.
Pulley of the oil pump
13. Establish a pulley on a shaft of the oil pump and fix by a nut, having tightened it the required moment.
14. Establish a gear belt.
Tension mechanism
15. Install the tension mechanism on the engine and fix by bolts.
16. Establish a gear belt.
Single pulley
17. Establish a single pulley and fix by a bolt.
18. Establish a gear belt.
