3.2.13. Oil pallet

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. Lift a forward part of the car and record on supports.
3. Merge engine oil, establish a new washer and install a drain stopper in the oil pallet.
Engines of 1,6 l
4. Remove a forward exhaust pipe.
5. Disconnect the electric socket from the oil level sensor.
6. Unscrew the bolts fixing a ledge of the oil pallet to a transmission case.
7. For access to bolts of fastening of the oil pallet take the rubber traffic jams closing bolts.
8. Gradually and consistently unscrew bolts of fastening of the oil pallet to the block of cylinders of the engine. Remove the oil pallet and laying.
9. Unscrew bolts and pick up the oil receiver phone with the mesh filter. Wash out the mesh filter.
L engines 1,8 and 2,0
10. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of level of engine oil.
11. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the lower part of the oil pallet to the main block of the pallet and remove it together with laying.
12. For removal of the main block of the oil pallet from the engine remove an oil filter.
13. Remove a forward exhaust pipe.
14. Unscrew the bolts fixing a ledge of the main block of the pallet to a transmission case.
15. Gradually unscrew bolts of fastening of the main block of the pallet to the block of cylinders. Remove the main block of the oil pallet together with laying.
Prevention

On some models it can be necessary to disconnect the right power shaft from the transmission for removal of the main block of the oil pallet.

16. Unscrew bolts and pick up the maslopriyemny phone together with the mesh filter.

Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear all traces of dirt and oil of the interfaced surfaces of the oil pallet and block of cylinders.
Engines of 1,6 l
2. Establish a new sealing ring of round section on the top part of a pipe of an oil receiver. Apply on a carving of bolts means against unscrewing and screw an oil receiver pipe on the oil pump.
3. Apply a thin film of sealant on the surface of the block of cylinders about the oil pump and a back main cover of the radical bearing (places of drawing a germentik are specified by stredka).
4. Install new laying on the oil pallet. Apply the means interfering unscrewing of bolts on a carving of bolts and screw up bolts of fastening of the oil pallet, working from the center in the diagonal sequence.
5. Screw up bolts of fastening of a ledge of the oil pallet to a transmission case.
6. Establish a forward exhaust pipe and repeatedly connect the electric socket of the sensor of level of oil.
7. Lower the car on the earth and fill in engine oil in the engine.
L engines 1,8 and 2,0
Prevention

At installation of the oil pallet it is necessary to use new bolts.

8. Establish a new sealing ring of round section on the top part of a maslopriyemny pipe. Install a maslopriyemny pipe on the oil pump and fix by bolts.
9. Apply a thin film of sealant on the lower part of the block of cylinders in the field of installation of the oil pump and a back main radical cover of bearings.
10. Install new laying on the main block of the oil pallet and apply the means interfering their unscrewing on a carving of fastening of bolts of the oil pallet.
11. Install the main block of the oil pallet on the block of cylinders and fix by bolts, tightening them from the center in the diagonal sequence.
12. Fix by bolts a ledge of the main block of the oil pallet to a transmission case.
13. Establish a forward exhaust pipe and where it is necessary, connect a power shaft to the transmission.
14. Check that the interfaced surfaces of the main block of the pallet and the lower pallet pure and dry. Install the lower oil pallet with new laying on the main block of the oil pallet and fix it by new bolts.
15. Establish a new oil filter and connect the electric socket to the oil level sensor.
16. Lower the car and fill in engine oil in the engine.
